Wheel 1 Extendo is our 6-week introductory wheel throwing class series for people with no experience. Its the same as Wheel 1 but with 2 additional classes to learn & practice.
We'll take you step-by-step through the fundamentals of making ceramics on the potters wheel with focused instruction on every part of the process.
This series offers more instruction, more practice time, and more pieces to take home. For those who want to learn how to throw independently or be a member one day. You'll keep your own set of ceramics!
The Info:
- Level 1: No experience required
- Each class is 2 hours
- Ages 13+. Ages 13-17 need to sign up with an adult.
- All materials, firing and glazing included to take home pieces.
- Pay in installments: payment plans accepted at checkout

First actual wheel class during which you get to experience each stage of the process from throwing to trining to glazing. Angel is an amazing teacher who curates a chill, creative, and welcoming vibe. I was pretty nervous at first trying something new but immediately this class became what I looked forward to all week. At the end you have these great pieces to use in everyday life. The studio also feels like a safe place to be able to just be yourself. I have recommended to all my friends and colleges and plan to continue to take many more classes.
I was gifted a gift card take a class here and I'm so glad I spent a little extra to take the extended class! I feel like it really made a difference in my pieces and in bonding with my class. Clarke is such a positive and encouraging teacher, and I'll be taking wheel 2 next

It's been great having a dedicated time to practice what I learned in the intro class. There were plenty of time to honing each skill like shaping and trimming. Angel's been great in helping us along the way. The best part if we get to bring back quite a few pieces we made.
