Paint your own pottery in community with wine and light bites provided by chef Nia Lee
We will paint, sip & eat while reflecting on the themes of belonging, memory, and nourishment through communal prompts and storytelling. (NOTE: This workshop will center Black and Brown queer and trans people)
Nia Lee is an award-winning Black queer artist, chef, and organizer who intertwines traditional Black American archival foodways with innovative healing practices to craft unique and transformative food-based community experiences. As the originator of Black Food Futurism, Nia’s groundbreaking work has garnered acclaim in publications such as The Los Angeles Times, The Cut, Vogue, and more.
Choose from one of our included piece options, or pay a little more for a top shelf item. You will be using high quality food safe ceramic glazes.
Each person must book a seat. Each ticket comes with one premade pottery option, food and wine. Everything is included.

Please note you are not making pottery. You are painting on premade pottery while wine and food is being provided to you. Your finished pottery will be ready 30 days after the workshop.
