For youth ages 12-17. No experience required, suited for all levels & beginner friendly.

Nuestras maestras son bilingües, niños y padres que hablan español son bienvenidos.

Our 5-day pottery summer camp offers a comprehensive pottery education in core pottery techniques. Practice creativity and develop a pottery foundation in this a 2-track curriculum that focuses on both wheel throwing and handbuilding each day.

By the end of the week, students will have created a collection of their very own unique pottery.

Students will build on their projects each day to expand creatively and learn the value of practice and continued effort. They will return to multiple projects and see the fruits of their labor at the end.

Pottery is healing, it's a creative hobby, it's an ancient practice, and it keeps us off our devices. Through pottery we hope to inspire and educate the youth, and give them a healthy outlet. We are here to provide a safe space where they feel supported in exploring their creativity and identity.

Students will be invited to exhibit their pieces in an exhibition in late summer where they are welcome to invite all their family and friends to celebrate their artistic achievements.

Each session is the same curriculum. Students are invited to join as many as they desire. Each session is limited to 12 students.

All materials included.

Hosted POT Gardens: 3228 W. Jefferson Blvd. 90018.
